The failsafe CO/O2 control is based on the usage of either:
Combined with the corresponding sensor electronics. The sensor electronic Lambda-Transmitter (LT) is connected to LAMTEC burner- and fuel/air ratio control with integrated CO/O2 control via Lamtec System Bus (LSB).

For decades the O2 control has been helping save energy on industrial combustions. It is based on the measurement of the remaining oxygen content in the flue gas. Disturbances e.g. false air can influence the measurement results and impair the function, efficiency and safety of the control.
The O2/CO control integrated in LAMTEC’s burner management systems compensates these disturbances and automatically optimizes the fuel/air ratio by repeatedly approaching the emission edge. At the transition of complete/good to incomplete/bad combustion the emission edge marks the point of optimal combustion with minimum emissions, maximum efficiency and minimum consumption.
At the emission edge the products of an uncomplete combustion COe develop. To find the emission edge, flue gas probes based on zirconium dioxide developed by LAMTEC are offered:
Each probe operates at its optimum with the fitting sensor electronics, i.e. with Lambda-Transmitter (LT) or CarboSen-Transmitter (CT). At the transmitters analog outputs various measurable values are available e.g. O2, COe, efficiency etc. Values relevant for the O2/CO control are transferred via Lamtec System Bus (LSB) to the connected LAMTEC burner- and fuel/air ratio controllers.
