The CarboSen is a miniaturized sensor system for the detection of oxidizable
gases. Using modern manufacturing processes, this sensor can be produced in huge quantities. The sensor is particularly suitable for measurements below 1 000 ppm COe.

The working principle of the solid electrolyte sensor is a Non-Nernstian mixed potential. This allows a COe detection starting from 10 ppm e.g. for in-situ measurement in the rough flue gas of oil-, gas- or biomass fired burners and heaters.
