Replacing the F130I with the F120I

LAMTEC looks back on a long product history marked by many positive experiences with the F130I. This continuous development has now led to the F120I, which not only matches the technical characteristics of the F130I but actually surpasses them. Here are the key advantages of the F120I compared to the F130I:

• Increased sensitivity with a 390 V ionization auxiliary voltage (no step-up transformer required)
• No difference in sensitivity between the 120 V and 230 V power supply variants.
• Can be used in single-electrode mode
• SIL 3 classification (according to DIN EN 61508)
• Two additional open-collector outputs: “Flame ON” and “Standby”
• Scalable current output

Despite all these advantages, the F120I is more affordable than the F130I. The F120I has been available alongside the F130I in the product portfolio for several months, and due to its numerous advantages, many customers have already made the switch. Replacing the flame monitors in existing systems is also possible without any concerns.

No negative experiences have been reported to date, which is why LAMTEC has now decided to completely discontinue the F130I and replace it with the F120I. The F130I will remain in the product portfolio until June 31, 2026. After that date, only remaining stock will be available.
