The LAMTEC pilot burners of the GFI series are used for the safe ignition of main burners on industrial furnaces and firing systems. The standard version of the GFI series is equipped with an integrated ignition transformer, ionisation electrode and SIL 3-certified, EU type-tested ionisation flame scanner (IFS).
The pilot burner is used in industrial furnaces, thermoprocessing plants, and boilers for gas, oil, and solid fuels.
It is used for the following purposes:
- Preheating the system
- Ignition of the main burner
- Supporting the main burner flame
Main burner ignition assisted by natural gas, LPG, coke gas. Can ignite any type of gas, LFO or HFO.
