Applications

The LAMTEC Lambda Transmitter LT3, in combination with the LAMTEC probes type LS2 and KS1D, is a universally applicable microprocessor-based measuring device and the cost-effective alternative to the more flexible LT2. In combination with the KS1D probe, the LT3 is used for simultaneous measurement of the O2 concentration and detection of oxidising gas components CO/H2 (COe) in flue gases of combustion plants. The measured value COe represents a sum signal of all oxidisable flue gas components. However, it can also be used with the classic LAMTEC LS2 probe for pure oxygen measurement.

A SIL1 certificate for safe measurement and limit value output in combination with the KS1D probe is available as a special configuration of the LT3. (SIL1 in accordance with DIN EN 61508, Parts 1, 2 and 3)
As a 1oo2 special configuration of two LT3 with one KS1D probe each, the system is certified for safe measurement and limit value output in accordance with SIL2. (SIL2 in accordance with DIN EN 50156-1, Clause 10, and DIN EN 61511-1)
